Water Birch Farm is home to Best in Show winning Mini Rex rabbits. We strive to improve the breed in accordance with the ARBA Standard of Perfection. Mini Rex rabbits weigh less than 5 pounds as adults and have a lifespan of 7 to 10 years. They are typically gentle and gregarious. They are best known for their plush, velvety fur.

PET RABBITS FROM WATER BIRCH FARM

Some rabbits we raise do not turn out to be a good fit for our show and breeding program and are sold as pets. Our kits are raised in our home with small children and regularly handled from birth. They are treated preventatively for worms and coccidiosis and vaccinated against pasteurella.

Rabbits are clean, quiet, relatively easy and inexpensive to care for, entertaining, and cuddly. They also chew (bunny-proofing is critical), have little drive to please people, and are delicate (not a good fit for young children without supervision). Altogether, they are a great fit for many families - they bring a lot of joy to our household!
